Happy Anniversary from Uganda

Mary Beth managed to get on a computer earlier today to wish us a happy anniversary! She reports that the ministry is great, but that she misses us terribly. I am tempted to print and frame those emails!

An update from the team in Gulu, via Emily, Trip Director. Here is an official medical update for everyone to put your hearts at ease. We do indeed have some sick students up in Gulu. All of those student's parents have already been contacted and the students are getting the appropriate treatment . They have been diagnosed with Typhoid, which actually is very easily treated and has a quick recovery. A leader has been with those students at all times to insure excellent medical care. No one has malaria; praise God! If you have not heard from Dan or myself, then your child is doing just fine. Those who were not affected are out at the moment doing ministry at a primary school and will present the abstinence curriculum in a high school this afternoon. Please know that if your child ever has a serious illness beyond just normal traveler's stomach issues, you will always be personally contacted by our leadership team here. We appreciate all the prayers going out on our behalf; keep them coming. The students that were being treated in Gulu have been discharged from the hospital and are feeling much better. They are heading back to the hotel at the moment. Thanks for all the prayers; the kids are in good spirits and excited to get back to ministry very soon.

God bless!
