And Week #3 Begins!

We received a couple of messages from Mary Beth yesterday; some of you received the same, yes, she "questions" the meat for meals in Africa! What a great time to go vegetarian! Something tells me she'll be first in line at Chick-Fil-A on August 5!

Mary Beth says the church services are nothing like ours, and they're about 4 hours long! She really enjoys hearing stories from her national partners, Will, Isaac and Joseph, but did share that she is more comfortable doing things with the children and in the schools than she is in outright evangelism which is proving challenging for her.

Today is a touring/shopping day in Kampala and then tomorrow her team leaves for Gulu, so you may not hear from her. They'll be there a week, and next Tuesday, they'll rejoin the other group for the safari trip. That group, A, leaves for the states on Wednesday and will mark Mary Beth's half-way point.

Pray for their safety as they travel. God bless!

  1. Glad to hear that Mary Beth is feeling better and has survived being sick without mom's care.. I know the children are benefiting from Mary Beth's love and care- I believe her example and outreach is faith in action. I think about your family every day.
