Mary Beth is back in Kampala. Here's a report from Emily:
The A trippers are on a plane heading home today! They got off to the airport safe and smooth, but with a lot of tearful goodbyes.Last night we had a fabulous BBQ with all of our Global Partners, the volunteers, the staff of the hostel, and many others. We had a fun dance party, sharing time, and lots of yummy food. Ask your child about the goat:-) Students also had a lot of team time yesterday to bring the trip to a close and crystalize what God has done in and through them. Please ask your missionary to share their "Kodak moment."
The kids on A trip are already missed. God is stirring up something new in the C trippers during this time between A and B trips. New and deeper friendships will form and more of God's presence will be active. The teams will get to rest some this week and also continue ministry. Tomorrow they will go to the Masaka orphanage all day.
So, I can't wait to hear about the goat and Kodak moment! God bless and keep on praying!
